The Sr. Data Integration Analyst, Translational Informatics is responsible for the development of integrated data warehouses, laboratory information systems, reporting applications, and analytics systems within a translational research setting.

The focus of this position is on the development and implementation of translational systems for cancer research and includes complex elements of clinical trial management. This position demands an individual with superior technical and innovative database creation, administration, and programming skills, as well as diplomatic and organizational skills associated with the successful management of resources within a matrix environment.

This position requires a large degree of experience in the modeling of highly complex data types such as genomics and proteomics.

This individual will interact heavily with Hospital data transformation and integration initiatives to demonstrate proof-of-concept data integration and to promote the proper representation of translational data and activities created and utilized by the diverse researcher population.

Due to its multi-faceted character, this position dually reports through the Center for Childhood Cancer Research (CCCR) and the Center for Biomedical Informatics (CBMi).

Requirements:

  • BS required/MS strongly preferred in Computer Science, Information Science, Informatics, or related discipline.
  • 5 or more years experience in database development, database administration, and/or programming within a health sciences environment necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree with emphasis in the Life Sciences, and a minimum of 1-3 years of highly successful laboratory sales management or equivalent experience is required.

A solid foundation in financial skills used in a selling environment

Prior experience selling life science equipment is desired

Must have an exceptional understanding of our markets and be knowledgeable of diverse laboratory product applications.

Strong knowledge of accounts within North America

Experience with both direct, channel partner, and manufacturer representative selling environments

Exceptional analytical capability and problem solving skill.

Ability to work in a team atmosphere and influence others to achieve results.
