VP/DIRECTOR ENERGY ORIGINATION HOUSTON

Our client; a Major Global Bank is looking to hire a VP/Director in Energy Origination for their Houston office. The individual will be responsible for transaction origination in North America. Clients include refineries and independent exploration companies.

Originate and execute and close lead agented transactions.

Attend bank meetings and industry conferences.

Liaise with the Credit/Risk Approval Group on credit-related issues.

Liaise for credit and cross-sell facilities, credit and client relationship-related issues.

Experience and Skills

1.) Minimum 8-15 years origination experience in corporate banking / corporate finance / investment banking / capital markets, currently at a VP or Director level.

2.) Experience in leading and closing energy-related financings, particularly in reserve-based lending transactions.

3.) Some international experience desirable and relevant industry contacts amongst energy global and domestic financial players/syndicate partners.

Originator- Aviation Capital

Our client, based in the NYC area, seeks an Originator for Aviation Capital in the Americas. Focus is on the sourcing and development of new business opportunities with airlines in the Americas region.

The successful candidate will form part of the global origination team which is tasked with originating new business for the company, managing the re-lease of owned aircraft on an ongoing basis, as well as maintaining excellent relationships with the world’s airlines.

The ideal candidate will possess a high level of energy, initiative and drive. A background in the aviation finance industry is preferred, with experience ideally gained from another lessor, airline, manufacturer, bank or other financing entity. Given the global nature of the business, a proven communicator capable of dealing with a diverse range of communities and cultures is essential.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Operate as part of the Origination Team serving the customer base covering North, Central and South America • Interface with senior airline management and other industry players to identify, develop and close aircraft financing transactions and cross-sell other banking products • Lead cross-functional deal teams in LOI/Term Sheet negotiations. • Market new, and re-market existing aircraft • As Relationship Manager, interface with other parts of the organization to identify and capture non-AC business opportunities

Outline Qualifications/Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of the aviation industry (including technical knowledge of aircraft and engines, key financing players, manufacturers, operators, etc) • Clear understanding of aviation finance and lease transaction structures (commercial debt, operating lease, sale & leaseback, capital markets, IRD, fuel hedging, cash management) • Ability to motivate and lead a cross functional deal team leveraging internal relationships to meet shared goals/objectives • Proven track record of building excellent customer relationships • Excellent collaborative and communication skills. • Proven ability to manage large ticket, complex transactions • Proven negotiation skills • Strong problem solving, analytical and financial skills. • Willingness to travel extensively, sometimes at short notice

Project Finance Analyst & Associate- Energy & Infrastructure

Identify and execute Project Finance opportunities within the energy and infrastructure sectors for the Project Finance Group of an International Bank with US operations in New York City and Houston, TX.

The Project Finance team is responsible for the identification, structuring, negotiation, and due diligence of new Project Finance business opportunities, with primary revenue generating responsibility. The Candidate will report directly to the U.S. Head of Corporate Finance. The role will focus on energy and infrastructure opportunities in the United States.

Principal Accountabilities include:
